If you do make something a template, just put it in your userspace rather than the Template namespace -- that is for wiki-wide use. Templates designed for multiple-userspace-wide use are named as Template:User <name>. Oh, rounded corners are very possible (if you wish to stray away from the path of glorious web standards towards the path microsoft managed to lead people a decade ago). The dropshadow however isn't. ;) Though I suppose if you want the color to change you could just swap out the image for a dropshadow and do the blocks with code, and pray people won't be using anything standards compliant. Reasons why I changed my sig....

• The fire was a copy vio from WoW's early Horde alliance thing. I found that picture after I was looking up mmorpgs....wiki commons should get that fixed.
• A drop of blood does go with my name, you know?

If you start from a correctly licensed pic, then you'll be fine. this: (clikc for full size.) is 100% of my own making. If you look at the bottom of this WoW wiki states that all of it's pictures and articles are realeased under GFDL, at least why else would a link be there? I just edited it by giving shadows, removed background, and changed size.
