The Age of the Dragon is the current age of the Canthan calendar, in its third century. Beginning in 1382 CC (872 AE), the age was enthusiastically dubbed by astrologers; the beginning of the age was a peace between the Kurzicks and Luxons brought about Emperor Angsiyan before his death by Shiro Tagachi and the eventual ending of the peace.
