Lady Althea is the daughter of Duke Barradin, and is romantically involved with Prince Rurik. She can be found next to her Actors Stage in Lakeside County. She is a Mesmer and quest giver in Ascalon (pre-Searing).

- After the Searing, she is captured by the Charr and sacrificed to their "fire gods" in the Flame Temple Corridor, becoming the Ghost of Althea. This sets the scene for the quest Althea's Ashes.

- Althea wields a Cane (Illusion) and a Wooden Buckler, whereas many NPC caster classes wield a wand/off hand set or a staff.
- Koro Sagewind uses the same skin as her.
