Talk:Lady Althea
She wears a slightly modified version of Mesmer Courtly/Mesmer Elite Noble armor, should this be added to notes? 2.120.38.219 15:42, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

If Althea lived, she would have joined Devona, Aidan, Eve, Cynn and Mhenlo[edit]
It's quite weird to me that Althea died. If you refer to the original GW: Prophecies soundtrack, there is a piece called Althea's theme. You can hear it in character creation when clicking on a Mesmer profession. Likewise you hear Aidan's theme clicking on Ranger, Mhenlo's theme clicking on Monk, Eve's theme clicking on Necromancer, etc. (here's a link with time stamps for reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUe64FtLs3U). If I were to speculate, Althea was supposed to stay alive and leave Ascalon with her exiled husband, Prince Rurik. When Rurik dies, she has nothing left tied to her social position of nobility, and she joins Devona's group of adventurers to avenge her love. Eventually, they all become good friends and then travel together to Cantha, Elona and Eye of the North. I would have loved to see her re-uniting with her father at the Gwen's wedding after a long track of adventuring. Any thoughts? 130.179.72.139 20:33, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- So glad I ran across this. I even logged on for the first time in months just to reply. I absolutely love this idea, and I have to say I would agree with you. I've always loved "The Five" from the original game, but have always wondered why there never seemed to be a token Mesmer hero in Prophecies. Because of this, I decided to make my main a Mesmer to fit this gap; however, that does make so much more sense for it to have been Althea. I wonder the developers had originally planned it this way or intentionally had her killed off. Regardless, I still love Althea's heartbreaking story as well. Your proposed idea of "what may have been" absolutely breaks my heart, but I love it. --Spigs 00:38, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Monument?[edit]
There's a broken arch in Nolani (mission) as you leave the Tomb of the Fallen.... Has a cameo on it. Looks a lot like Althea to me. Anyone agree? Should we add this to lore? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.58.93.169 (talk) at 04:28, 15 March 2019 (UTC).

- I went and changed the mission addition. there are definitely multiple cameos of the same woman, but they are reversed depending on the side of the arch, and the hair, eyebrows, and all around facial structure do not appear to look anything like her in-game stuff, nor I am sure it would make sense why her face would be all over the graveyard dedicated to those who died defending that wall. HOWEVER, if there is enough hard proof given and it is agreed upon, it can be added to both. But the trivia is not a place for speculation.
