Biomancer (Discussion)
<-- This would be a really cool idea for Guild Wars 2 because it can heal,disease, and prevent conditions from happening. Lets say there this skill called "Research: If target ally is suffering from Disease, Bleeding, Deep Wound, or Poison, the duration is reduced by 10 seconds and all party members cannot suffer from that condition for 30 seconds". -->
- Why this is a good idea
- Can heal and remove conditions like a monk
- Can disease and poison like a Necromancer
- Can prevent certain conditions from happening for a fixed amount of time
- MAY be able to give energy to allies (ex. a skill similar to Blood Ritual
- Has good synergy with all races proposed, except for Charr
- Biomancer sounds cool =P
- Why it may not work out
- Similar to a Monk/Necromancer
- How to implement it into a medieval setting game
Suggested Attributes
- Biology(Primary): For every three ranks of Biology target ally gains 2 energy every time you cast a spell on them
- Infections: Skills, especially ones that have to do with spreading conditions and removing them.
- Treatment: Skills, especially those removing and preventing conditions.
- Surgery: Skills, especially those that improve the attributes of the held weapon.
As you see this is a very versatile class that can act as many professions, but it is not all powerful, you guys can find a way to lower their supreme awesomeness in some way ;). Yes like Ignore condition skills, Anti-Healing and melee spikes, assuming this is a backline squishie lol
