Faster Running (Discussion)
The idea is that when you are at 100% hp & 100% energy with no hexes/conditions on you, you start naturally moving faster, and geting faster until you reach a certain limit (probably 25 or 33%). This could work like natural regeneration (when you stop fighting for a while you start getting pips of health regen) so it would end as soon as you were hexed or suffered from a condition, took damage, cast a spell on an enemy started attacking etc.
That way you would be able to cut down on time when searching for particular areas etc or if all the monsters near you are all dead so you can find more enemies.
- Why this is a good idea
- Takes away the annoying wasted time running around between battles or to quest givers or running to NPCs to sell items, collect quest rewards etc
- Why it may not work out
- I dont know if healing allies affects natural regeneration, if it didnt then it could be exploited so healers always move 33% faster.
- Could be exploited with blocking stances to make running easier (could make the effect
- Surely that would make rangers and dervishes as runners obselete?
