Idea (Discussion)
It'd be nice to be able to enter buildings for a change rather than just admire the scenery like a homeless person all the time. The city in factions really stood out to me visually but I couldn't help think that it would be nice to see inside some of the walls for a change instead of just standing around. Might add another dimension to things. And if the player is in front of a chair, he/she can type sit and their character can actually sit down.
- Why this is a good idea
- It'd be cool to be able to visit indoor markets and shops, homes or war-rooms.
- Good for relaxing with a friend say, at a tavern after a hard battle.
- More realistic, so more people feel more immersed in the game.
- Why not its just an othher thing to do while u are bored in gw 2
- (In response to the overcrowding problem) The only reason that some towns are overcrowded is because GW1 was not a persistent world. But with GW2 being persistent, there will be more people exploring the world and hopefully bring in a balance of population between towns and explorable area. With houses, you can place them anywhere (in towns or explorable area), making more balances to reduce over crowding of towns.
- Why it may not work out
- Lots more work to do in level design
- possible overcrowding?
