There have been some really great suggestions about improving the trade economy for GW2. My suggestion is, in the least, if you have a tradeable item you should be able to ctrl + click on it and have it appear as a link in the trade chat/text window. I get really annoyed when i am in town and have to surf through everyone's abbreviations, and then you're not really sure if they have the item, etc. To keep from ever having to open a trade window with them, you can click on your link from the text and see the item and it's description. Also, this is a great way to show your group/friends/guld mates what you are weilding/wearing without going into a 10 minute diatribe.
- Why this is a good idea
- More concise way of previewing trade items
- Get a better look and feel at the items other people have earned
- Useful and convenient. Would be nice if you could do the same with skills and builds (I know you can now, but it's clumsy) also. --76.25.197.215 02:37, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

- Depending on how GW2 does trade, could be redundant
- Possibility of excess coding
