Officer and guild leader chat channels (Discussion)
Within a guild, it's often necessary for officers to hold a discussion (elections, guild matters, event organization...); within an alliance, it's sometimes necessary for guild leaders to hold a discussion.
The current ways of doing this can interfere with gameplay -- you have to conduct your meeting off Guild Wars (on a forum, or via e-mail), or you have to travel to the same outpost.
Why not introduce an officers-only channel, or a leaders-only channel?
- Why this is a good idea
- Adds a lot of convenience, and improves the running of guilds/alliances.
- Why it may not work out
- Programming-wise, it's too difficult to make chat display depend on guild rank?
- Don't see how it can be difficult to conduct meeting in the same outpost. If its that important that no one see what you say.
