ArenaNet:Guild Wars 2 suggestions/Settle PvE grudges in PvP

Idea (Discussion)
My suggestion is having a way for a team to face off in PvP against another team that they meet in the PvE environment, not for titles or rewards but to settle the grudge about what dye combination best produces flourescent blue or something of that ilk. One on one battles probably wouldn't work, with Mesmers having a quick advantage against elementalists, and other such imbalances. But a lot of fun could be had by having ones honor offended by a particularly rude warrior, and sending a call out amongst your alliance to defend yourselves against all that is unjust and wrong. Open up these fights for level 20 characters only... Or the equivalent, seeing as you scrapped the perfect system you had in GW1, and disable PvE skills, assuming you allow those into GW2. Add a way to wager items or gold on the outcome, and you have a decent new aspect of PvP.
- Why this is a good idea
- This is a very interesting concept, something similar to open dueling, one of my favorite parts of online gaming. What you suggest seems to be more like dueling, which would add a new type of PvP to the game, and provide entertainment to observers. People could root on their guildees, or friends in a 1v1/ 3v3 duel.
- A less competitive, layed back type of PvP for friends to see who truly is a better Wammo, and such.
- Why it may not work out
- Is it really needed?
- This could cause glitches, like characters dying moments after losing a duel.
