AoE Casting
In GW 1 mostly all AoE skills needs to be targeted before able to cast, however, I think that it would be more beneficial for players to be able to choose the area without having to target the opponent. Seeing that most mobs charge in and/or scatter during an attack, it makes it hard for AoE skills to do damage. So for a player to choose the area, knowing the mob will charge at you (or party) could cast on the area in front of you rather then the target, whom you may miss if the target is still coming in.
- Why this is a good idea
- Makes it easier to kill opponents that will come into range rather then waiting for them.
- Chances of the skill being avoided would be less since the opponent may/may not know if the area in effect.
- Excellent idea. It would allow players to time aoe to defend choke points (as stated, there will be choke points to defend in world PvP)
- Why it may not work out
