ok you out exploring, mindinding your own bussines the typical run from point B too point A situation right. then u notice somthing that catches your eye, its a NPC dude standing infront of a inconspicous crevase blocking the entrance he dosent talk, dosent move outa the way( u stare behind him into the void... i got to get back there some how) u sit there wondering whys he here, whats he gaurding.(the npc yawns)and u get bored, u continue on your journey an u notice that theres afew bees hanging around next to a bridge(YOU SPOT A BEE HIVE) and you say to yourself maybe if i pick that thing up an haul it back to that npc an drop it next to him... *^Your seeing were im going with this right*^ you can open new trails,short cuts, detours, (dungeons) just by interacting with the inviroment u can creat a change, maybe block a path of persuing undead, wake up a crafter who fell alseep. start a series of mini quest.!!!!Another interpretation!!!!! the skies the limit. maybe u run across abuncha baddies but they wont atack u, they seem pretty freindly too you...0.o? ( one starts to break dance) next they all start to emote a complet band! u notice another group of baddies aproching to the nonhostile baddies an start to atack em. ( you think hunnh? hey i liked that buncha baddies an decide to help em out) u notice that same be hive u take it, run into the center of the 2 groups an drop it. the hostile group of baddies are overwhelmed by bee power and flee! the non hostile group thanks you for your help an gives you a ticket to get past that dude who was infront of the crevase!
- Why this is a good idea
- its simple, its fun. its a change from the everyday talk to npc(click start mission/quest)i feel gamers would like to explore and figure out things. all they need is that mistery and curiosity that SENSE OF ADVENTURE! that makes em say " wow that was cool how those bees chased that dude away from that crevase, now i can see whats back there!SWEET!"
- Adds more thought and mind engagement into the game.
- Agree Adds more things to do
- could have rewardable items like platinum of ectos in it or could become a secret place
- lol seems easy to me, i think its doable!
- Why it may not work out
- All the secrets would be posted on Youtube or every other website
- The world is supposed to be persistent, thus the (explorable) area will be for more players at one time. This means that there would certainly be some others that would follow every your step and watch what you do just to get to the reward as well, which could get pretty annoying.
