There are skills which are never used in Guildwars but why? Maybe you can release them ingame. I mean a skill like Lightning_Storm would have great animations ingame and it can be misused. Well maybe give it a recharge time but then it is fine isnt it? And there are a lot of skills which are the same. Never put in the game but they can't hurt or can they? srr for gramma. - Slapping a recharge onto a skill that shouldn't exist doesn't always fix it. I would also love to see some of these skills reintroduced, but most of them were removed either because they were too good or completely useless. ~Shard 21:05, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Mantra of Celerity plz linsey. --Cursed Angel 21:27, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- why would a skill like this lighting storm be useless or overpowered it just does some dmg can't see whats overpowered to it. Only the no recharge on it. Death Sligher 21:29, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- AoEDoT ints with THAT much damage? — Jon Lupen 21:31, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ok then make it maybe: Spell. You invoke a Lightning Storm at target foe's location. Each second for next 10 seconds, foes in the area are stuck for 14...61...73 lightning damage and they get Cracked Armor for 10sec. Since the are electricated :D. Death Sligher 21:45, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- AoE condition application? — Jon Lupen 21:46, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Weaken Armor? Vili >8< 21:46, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see AoEDoT damage on Weaken Armor as well, plus, weaken armor cannot re-apply without recasting. — Jon Lupen 21:48, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes Weakon armor but then for a ele and why not it cost 25energie and is just a skill which dmg all enemys instead of 1, Shell Shock is the cheaper and quicker version of this skill. Death Sligher 21:50, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- "why not it cost 25energie and is just a skill which dmg all enemys instead of 1." Please think before you speak. Plus this is a skill that has over 800 damage potential vs a single target that is off the charts in terms of any power measurement for skills, and the fact that it's AoE doesn't help its cause in terms of being implemented.~>Sins WDB 22:11, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well meteor shower does 119dmg in 9sec + knock down isnt that the same. This skill does 93damage in 10sec and weakon armor instead of knockdown. Maybe they are to strong if you use both but you can put a 'When used it clears the sky (and makes it smell as new^^)' Which removes the effect of skyspells like meteoor shower(maybe just only meteoor shower or more spells) Death Sligher 22:20, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- It's like Ray of Judgment and Savannahs Heat. there total damage is around 250 in 5 seconds and these 2 have elite status. MS got a 3 sec delay before the first knockdown occurs and a very long recharge and casting time and therefore being easy to interrupt or walk out of it. Fox007 22:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I think it would be pretty cool if they could get the ones with no icons icons and buff/change them enough to be PvE only worthy and release them there. PvP doesn't need more skills, it just needs the current ones balanced. DarkNecrid 23:12, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well this skill has also 25energie, casting time 3seconds. It only has no recharge but I would say give it a 30-45recharge. Then you got the same stats as meteoor shower isn't it? And the other skills who aren't used yet could be handled the same just change it so that it isn't overpowered. And then introduce them in the game for players only since the enemys already have skills. (Or give them to new enemy's in new content, if it comes for gw1. But little chance for it in gw1.). Or just change them so the they only deal damage in 4sec instead of 10sec or so. But I dont know why this skill would be overpowered in pvp since meteoor shower sucks in pvp too^^, but for other skills yes maybe make them pvp/pve if it is needed. But if you fix them right pve/pvp versions arent needed. Death Sligher 23:15, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey guys, this discussion should be moved over to the skill feedback pages. Even though it's on unreleased skills, it's still better suited there. - Linsey talk 23:15, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ok it is just that I wanted to say that you could use those skills for new content by making them balanced. And as example I took lighting storm. Death Sligher 23:17, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- With editing of functions, all skills can be put back in really. And some can even be made into profession-based PvE-only skills. *Personally, I dislike the no profession PvE-only skills but love the Kurzick/Luxon and Sunspear skills*. And aside from the no recharge, I don't see what is wrong with Lightning Storm - maybe reduce the damage - but essentially it is a air version of Meteor Shower - like how Snow Storm is a cold damage version of Metoer Shower *but with the adjacent damage instead of kd/interrupt*. I don't know much about the removed skills *is there a list of them somewhere?* but I wouldn't be surprised if the PvE-only skills were mostly, if not all, based on skills that would have made it into the game *whether Utopia or one of the older 3* -- Azazel The Assassin\talk 00:12, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. Linsey told you to take it to another page. Do so now. -Auron >8< 00:23, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
