Anon's Issue -- 90.58.66.175 22:53, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- Touch rangers are able to use it way more effectively than necros because of mana limitations (Expertise) and need to be touch range, wich a ranger is more able to (defensive stances, superior armor level). The skills are already very bad so being that much worse for the profession they belong to sounds somehow wrong.
- Suggestion
- Make them spells. Touch rangers wouldn't be much nerf since Expertise works with touch skills whatever their type, but necros would be able to use it with spell-exclusive energy management, like Cultist's Fervor or Glyph of Lesser Energy for example.
- They would still be mediocre and I recognize they were made for beginners, no problem with that, but necros should be able to use necro skills effctively.
Useless for necros
- Issue
- Better for rangers.
- Suggestion
- Gain 1 energy for every 2 ranks of Soul Reaping.
Shard's Issue -- 21:21, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- They're the only nonspell touch skills in the game, solely for the purpose of letting touch rangers, a skill-less gimmick, exist.
- Solution
- Stop intentionally keeping gimmicks in a game that's supposed to be about player skill. Make them touch spells.
Impaled's Issue -- 17:38, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Issue
- Expensive melee-range skills on a caster?
- Suggestion
- Un-duplicate them and make them do something different. For example...
10 1 5 Half Range Spell. If target foe is bleeding, steals 15...51...60 health. Otherwise, deals 10...34...40 damage and inflicts bleeding (5...13...15 seconds).
