Discussion Improving Practiced Stance
- Issue
- This skill is hardly used for anything beyond choking gas. It is a poor elite skill that needs reworking.
- Suggestion
- In addition to its current effects, Practiced Stance could also cause +30 armor against physical attacks OR +10 Damage (physical attacks only) OR attack skills recharge 33% faster.
Alex Eternal's Issue --
- Issue
- Waste of an elite slot. Saves a marginal amount of time and energy. Better use of the elite slot could result in foe death faster and the energy never being needed...
- Suggestion
- On top of the current effects, put an IAS or IMS on there. I know how ANet are loving this whole "Let's introduce a whole new idea" thing so how about..."Everytime you hit target foe you attack 0...1...1% Faster". Also, I'd suggest moving to Expertise, makes it more available then. --AlexEternal 18:28, 15 February 2009 (UTC) Edit: /doh, it's already in expertise! I can be thick sometimes...
Badly designed skill that cannot be buffed
- Issue
- Keeps CG in trash bin, ONLY useful in PS/CG builds and worthless in any other build. Badly designed.
- Suggestion
- 5e 15r "Elite Stance. For 5...13...15 seconds, you attack 33% faster while wielding a bow. This ends if you interrupt a foe".
- Since the game engine can track which player causes a knockdown I don't think programming this would be difficult. This also forces rangers to choose turreting with this stance OR interrupting, but they cannot do both very well since the recharge is 15 seconds.
- Alternate suggestion
- Same as above functionality but 15e 1r. Due to the cost, using this with interrupts would be prohibitively costly.
