<3. You're suggestions are awesome. Again, been thinking this since the death of Rurik, the quest where I had to kill a "gaint Golem" and faught a glowing version of another golem, faced a boss in Ascalon and heard the normal walking music and the scene before Justicar Hablion and thinking "That could have been done a hell of a lot better".--The Gates Assassin 01:36, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Or when I saw this big open room with a bunch of dead bodies and a boss in the middle, yet I killed him in 4 seconds flat...I could go on forever.--The Gates Assassin 01:44, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Cyndr the Mountain Heart needed a dramatic intro. A shot of the heroes venturing out into the lava-filled room.. an earthquake, with accompanying rising soundtrack, followed by dramatic, slow-motion shot of the Wurm breaking through the ground and rising up into the air, screaming its rage at the invasion. His soundtrack kicks in, and the game becomes playable again. Upon blasting his shell open, the soundtrack changes and becomes more dramatic or faster paced, and when he recovers, it reverts to his previous soundtrack (maybe slightly faster as he becomes more damaged). His death is a slow-motion scream and collapse. What do you think, too Zelda-ish? -- MrSmiles 17:02, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Absolutely perfect. Couldn't have don't it better myself tbh. I hate dungeon bosses that are just THERE and no talking, no entrance, no cutscene. Lol you should go join Anet.--The Gates Assassin 17:12, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Heh, nothing I'd like more, but I haven't the programming nor the design skills. I've got ideas, sure, but "idea guy" is hardly a fulltime position. Best I can do for now is contribute ideas from the peanut gallery and try to make GW2 the best game possible. -- MrSmiles 17:40, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I do believe it does need much, much more emotional impact, but that could be carried out in any number of ways. One step would be to simply dramatify the voices of the narrarors. 'The last day dawns on the Kingdom of Ascalon.' What, who? Oh, its just you. Nothing special. Rather cliched to say the least, but the story is excellent in Prophicies. Just that extra little buff of grandeur, a spark of caring in their voices, not like un-biased newswriters. That would make my day a whole lot better. The Cyndyr suggestion was exellent. :D ProfileIcon 19:05, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Lol, I hated Togo. His scientific name would be "Homo Ritualisticus". Nice article though
- I actually liked togo personally though he did die rather often, however I found gadd's death and funeral rather tear jerking, probaly one of my favorite scenes in EoTN, I do admit to being rather underwhelmed with Togo's and Rurik's deaths, and I cared little when Kormir "died" at the hands of the Hunger...though I never really liked the bit----er...her all that much anyway. I do agree Shiro and Abbadon were rather underdeveloped, as well, though Shiro was still fairly well when compared to other MMO villains, though he couldn't compare to some other RPG villains I have gone against, personally (NWN1 spoiler) Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande, though not the principal villain of the game I definately found her to be my favorite villain in the NWN1 Campaigns, though Mephistopheles takes a close seconds(he took too long to get introduced to really have an effect on me really to take 1st). Anyway that's my say on the matter Weaponmaster 03:25, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
