I like it, however the names are a little bland, however I doubt that is an issue. Weaponmaster 16:08, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, the names could be more creative and hopefully it still will not have 1 issue. I will try to spruce up the names for ya. Weapon Adept catches my senses...Miekit 22:10, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
How would this profession actually be used ingame? How does it make up its general weakness compared to for instance pure rangers? Also, would this be useful enough in a game where you can already choose a secondary profession? --Tenshi Samshel 01:14, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- For some instances people like to use many weapons, this class provides the use of almost all weapons without having to waste points in multiple attribute areas at the cost of the actual main profession's skills. Compared to a "pure" ranger, this class will let you use many weapon combo(s) of melee/range weapons so you will be able to use a hammer, sword, and a bow r16 without the hassle of waste your skill points at the cost of their primary attribute gain. Its weakness would probably be most likely that it does not gain the primary attribute gain of the ranger, warrior, etc. A second profession added to this could strengthen the power usage of the weapon depending on what secondary you pick. If people want their Primary attribute bonus of attributes then they will have to use a ranger, warrior, etc for their primary. If this class was used as a second profession it will increase the strategy, damage, skills to be used of already existing primary's.Miekit 04:50, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think reqs and stuff are there for a reason: if people want to be versatile, there's always a price. So is your idea worth adding a whole profession, or would it be much easier to just lower the reqs of weapons? I wonder if such an idea would rather point to removing professions altogether... don't think that fits with the idea of GW. Balancing will definately be a major issue with this. But it certainly deserves thought. --Tenshi Samshel 06:41, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! This is certainly unique and should be looked over and thought about. Every profession comes with a price, some more than others and I think this 1 has a pretty good main attribute. It doesn't really lower the req but adds points 1 *blue* point into every weapon mastery for every point put into weapon mastery (primary) attribute. I would find the balancing average for this but shouldn't be that hard to program into the game. The more professions, the funner it is, well thats my opinion. Thanks for the review tho!Miekit 02:22, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
