Tickets and gold were fully reset, no loss
Whats this? ~ BlackGeneral File:Blackgeneralstar.png 12:21, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- I think some players that tried to afk-farming lucky/unlucky-title noticed they got disconnected even after some hours. They did not get any points towards their titles, but did not lose any money or tickets. I for myself did not take part in festivities, so it did not happen to me and I can't really say wether there was a server-wide reset or wether this reset was only for some players. Hope that's the answer you wanted. - MSorglos 15:28, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- Oh ok, thanks for clearing that. I, also, did not take part in it. ~ BlackGeneral File:Blackgeneralstar.png 15:30, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- Just more information; there was a bug with the festival from before where the game wasn't saving the information on players who were AFK. So after they would get disconnected, all of their progress would get lost because it hadn't been 'saved'. There wasn't a way to dupe items because trading and using the merchant force a save. They fixed the bug, but it popped up over this most recent event because someone found a way to crash the instance. --Chris Burnham 16:37, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- Wouldnt it be possible to place items/money in storage and then crush the game trough forced offsinc client-server by changing memory values then find your items bouth in storage and inventory? Biz 05:38, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
