The suggestion makes the skill more viable however this is just one of those skills that are either too good or too bad.--SiDima 03:34, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
i know that this is the issue with MoR, but they could have just decreased the duration to like 10sec at 14fast casting, not lowereing the %, not it's just a PvE-only skill, and even for PvE it's weak. 189.70.182.80 13:28, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
The problem with this skill was that it was a cheap way to break a lot of restrictions, and its uninteruptable, unlike its cousin, weapon of quickening. This skill is stripable (unlike weapon), but the skills that strip it are not commonly carried. It was being used to cycle wards, and keep near perma diversion/shame on monks, shutting down a single monk for up to 45 seconds at a time. In other words, this skill was single handedly shutting down splits. Weapon's counters are much more common (interupts). When you see the skill side by side, you can see that they are balanced in comparison to each other, and since they are the only 2 global recharge (other then serpents, which nobody complains about),and weapon of quickening is used, that means they are balanced globally. --Angelic Loki 11:05, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Serpent's Quickness is a sexy skill. Don't be so quick to judge! --Readem 15:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Serpent's Quickness ends if you are below half health and it linked to a useless attribute.
- With 50% you can have constant diversion on foes, even though it is energy-intensive. Instead, why not make it so that it speeds up the recharge of interrupted skills, too. That way it would have more utility while being less offensive (it becomes a defensive skill as well as an offensive one) and fits with the theme. I think if it did that it would definately get back into the game since it would make it a lot harder to shut down the down-shutters (i.e. the mesmer using it) with interrupts, when they are already harder to interrupt in the first place (but also making it a partially unneeded and thus not OP buff). I hope that makes sense.
- If diversion is a problem then add "If you were in a stance Diversion is disabled for an additional 6 seconds.

This needs to effect signets in addition to spells! --Falconeye 18:22, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Not a bad idea at all. Mantra of Inscriptions was nerfed because it allowed people to spam Signet of Judgment. Mantra of REcovery could also function as the previous mantra of inscriptions without causing problems. What's next, bane signet spam? lol. 72.43.62.68 16:04, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
