Animate Bond Fiend
Perfectly balanced skill, another reason why Izzy hates commenting here. Can't say I blame him. — Skadiddly[슴Mc슴]Diddles 03:36, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

The amount of DPS is insane when you have 10 of them. Keep that in mind. The problem with this is form Soul Reaping's timer, which can be mitigated by Signet of Lost Souls. Fiends themselves have 54 armor and 440 health which isn't bad for a ranged attacker. --Life Infusion «T» 03:28, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Having a ranged attacker instead of a melee attacker that essentially does the same damage is worth the extra cost. Reducing the cost to 15 would help PvP viability, but minions have never been especially viable by themselves, outside of SR abuse.--Skye Marin 08:58, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- PvE isn't supposed to be challenging (or if it is, Anet fails at pve balancing). MMs have and always will be a popular build because of its strong late-mission power. There is practically no use of this skill in PvP. ~Shard (talk / Nerf List) 02:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Bone Fiends are ranged attackers. Tests conducted proves Bone Fiend attack faster and does more damage per hit than Bone Horror of the same level. Bone Fiend have the same amount of health compare to Bone Horror of the same level. Bone Field only have less armor. This skill is not weak by any means. Lightblade 10:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- I never use this skill in HM, I think it sucks there. I'd rather have armored melee meatshields that explode with Death nova. Sure this skill is good in NM when you have about 10 of 'em, but then again, I could run a bootleg n/e nuker and still easily win NM. I don't really think it's worth the 25e cost. - Soul reaping and signet of lost souls are your friends. Also, these guys are insane with Order of Undeath. --Ckal Ktak 21:37, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I have to admit that it isn't hard to get an army of 10 of these and they really do impressive damage when using order of undeath. In fact the new PvE battlestandard and several shouts (ursan shout) make them deal insane damage. The question would be more wether it is worth the energy or not. In NM I would indeed say yes, the damage makes up for losing one character (the MM as it does nothing but sustain a large minion force) but in HM these things die in one or two hits while hardly doing any damage. For HM I prefer some meatshields that fuel all necromancer's energy pools and take some hits over slightly stronger but much more expensive ranged attackers. On top of that, with cheaper minions the MM can use other spells as well, spells like Death Nova or even secondary profession skills such as restoration heals 62.194.247.7 16:21, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
