This skill is designed for PvE not PvP, i guess. But i agree that it needs a buff. The problem with your suggestion for me is, that it sounds more like a nerf than a buff... Only thing this skill needs is a lower recharge. Reducing recharge to 30 (~1/3 uptime) is a good idea, but why the reduction of armor combined with the reduction of effect ("Make it block only projectile attacks") and all this with a more conditional upkeep time ("ends when hexed") and an increasement to 10 energy? 10 energy and lowering the armor a bit is imho enough to balance the recharge reduction. Everything else would make this skill terrible (even more than now)... A. von Rin 23:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Projectile means no ranger tanks will be made. Kiting should be important even if you bring defensive skills. The elemental armor is high at the low end, which is why I suggested a reduction. The hex ending thing is not really necessary I guess. --Life Infusion «T» 01:15, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see this suggestion even coming close to the power of Natural Stride. What I think this skill should do is some kind of viable alternative to Natural Stride so that Rangers do not need Nightfall as much as they do right now. They could get along without Mending Touch if they had an alternative to Natural Stride.
- Also, there's no point to raising the energy cost. Other professions get pretty much nothing out of this attribute aside from Natural Stride or Dryder's Defenses (in the hypothetical situation where it's a good skill). So honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Monks bring this skill when they could be using Disciplined Stance and a Tactics shield instead. --TimeToGetIntense 06:27, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- melandru's Resilience is a skill I know for sure is ranger secondary (synergy with foul feast and draw conditions). Keep in mind this not only has block but elemental damage resistance, which in close quarters is far superior to 33% speed boost that is turned off by a hex (water snares, mesmer hexes, etc)/enchant (something a monk would probably bring). --Life Infusion «T» 15:46, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it would be a big deal if Ranger secondary was viable for casters. Melandru's Resiliance doesn't even stack with this skill and isn't currently as strong as other elite options for any profession. The only significant benefit is the energy from it, which isn't as important as it used to be since the power and energy efficiency of elites is currently very high. --TimeToGetIntense 23:20, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thats a pretty crappy elite stance. ~~ frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 18:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

- The last idea is really terrible. No one needs another bad elite. A. von Rin 22:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
