Making this unblockable would make it pretty popular. Dark Morphon(contribs) 16:49, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Uh...no...Poison Arrow doesn't need change. It's still used quite frequently in TA. Lightblade 20:05, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- You're joking right? Why anyone would use this instead of Poison Tip Signet is beyond me. --Life Infusion «T» 23:44, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Poison Arrow + Barbed Arrows + Tab tab tab tab. --71.229 00:02, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
poison arrow + barbed arrows + toxity + tab tab tab = partywide -10degen 189.70.153.219 20:31, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well yeah, if it was unblockable it would become ultimate meta xD. Dark Morphon(contribs) 12:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- But making it unblockable is the best idea. Now you can use Apply Posion + Burning arrow and have 11 degen + extra damage (not that spammable, but far better against single targets). Make it unblockable and increase recharge to 3 seconds would make it more expensive than Apply Poison, but better overall for spamming conditions... A. von Rin 00:50, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Apply Poison + Burning Arrow can only be kept on one target at a time. Barbed Arrows + Poison Arrow can be kept on all of enemies's team. -7 degen times 4 target leaves you with higher overall damage than burning arrow. Lightblade 02:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

People who use this anywhere are bad. Adjacent Foes being poisioned as well seems decent. Maybe twice as fast movement? Sword.wind. 04:47, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- This skill is still going to be food for RC prots.
- As it is this skill deserves to be un-elited.
- This skill is trash, takes up your elite slot, apply poison is more efficient, and Poison Arrow has no meaningful combinations with anything except Barbed Arrows.

Dark Morphon's Discussion
Poison Arrow has half the cost and recharge of Crippling Shot, therefore they are comparable elites. I think Crippling is a bit more powerful than Poison and therefore this skill should become unblockable. Dark Morphon(contribs) 11:30, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- Making it unblockable would cause balancing issues, I say just add 5...17...21 damage and move it to marksmanship. That isn't overpowered as crossfire does the same damage for the same energy and has a nice conditional while not being elite.
- If they moved this to marksmanship, it might be used, but that would be against their whole idea of different attributes. Moving everything to marksmanship is just saying that only marksmanship+expertise is useful for a ranger, and they might as well delete beast mastery & wilderness survival. What they need to do is buff most wilderness/beast mastery skills to near OP status, so that they are no longer worthless attributes.Crimmastermind 21:08, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- If you make it unblockable, it would still be nigh-useless; Apply Poison and Called Shot would outclass it (just barely, the longer recharge would be balanced by the increased speed), and still leave you a free elite slot for some real damage, like Burning Arrow, or utility like Cripshot. I think Poison Arrow really needs a reason to be spammed; even a tiny bit of bonus damage would work, or better yet, conditional damage that only triggers on a poisoned foe. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 04:05, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- You don't suggest actually using Called Shot do you? This skill would be really good when unblockable because it would be a great way to spread poison. Called Shot is a joke. If you want to spread poison AND be unblockable, Cripshot+Apply is atm the best way. Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:20, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, Called Shot is pretty useless. Which was rather my point. Cripshot would still be a better choice, yes, even if Poison Arrow was unblockable. It needs something more then just poisoning to keep up with Apply Poison, which is much more accessible and flexible. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 20:05, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Unblockable is enough, it adds something over Apply, like Mbane does to Dshot. Also, it can be used to spread bleeding+poison. Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:55, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Unblockable poison arrow would still suck. If you don't need to elite slot, use crippling shot. If you need your elite slot, use called shot. Either way, poison arrow is still outclassed.
