I like this Proposal and added auto-critical against Minions and Spirits... it is D&D 'Ghost Touch' buff after all. --Falconeye 05:43, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- This makes Guided Weapon obselete in every way, shape and form.--Lancy1214 22:09, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thats a good thing... it means we can create a -fun/unique/better- guided weapon. Having -2- weapons spells with essential the -same- function while using awkward stats; given the choice of one or the other, I'd pick Ghostly. And Ghostly Weapon was meant to be spammed with skills such as Weilder's Zeal (and we know how that didnt work). --Falconeye 05:43, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- That's not a good thing...why would anyone in their right mind choose Guided Weapon instead of this? The skills need to be creative and balanced. If skill A does unblockable and Skill B does unblockable, less energy, critical on summons...something is definitely not balanced here. --Lancy1214 03:39, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- It would be better to make Guided Weapon not miss or something instead. Bear in mind that even with the suggestion, this would still only last three hits - it just means that you don't have to recast it constantly, have the potential ability to keep it up on two people at once (though that will take up all your time again, and a lot of energy) and means that it doesn't get wasted on an autoattack so easily. Someone who got this on them would also be able to unload a whole attack chain with it (or three attacks, at least), but it shouldn't be OP since it does still warn your foes that you're about to spike.
- As for the comparison with Guided, I agree that this would start to overshadow it, but Guided probably needs a bit of a buff (or at least a rework) anyway. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.107.195.55 (talk).

Falconeye's proposal
This might be too powerful in PvP due to spikes, Shadow Shroud is elite, strippable, has ~43% uptime at 16 Shadow Arts and only prevents enchantments. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 08:57, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Adjusted and thank you for the comparison! This was originally 'target ally or foe (-all creatures-)' but since only several skills do that, we decided that turning a foe into a 'Spirit' (only without the -type-) in addition to anti-weapon spell niche would be better. --Falconeye 17:58, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
