Same reasoning like that on Signet of Spirits proposed changes. The two skills behavior could be easily swapped in between themselves, fitting more to their names and getting them to be more similar to each other. While Offering of Spirit requires at least 5 energy to be used and makes you sacrifice health at the moment, it is used simply because of lower recharge time compared with Signet of Spirits (net energy gain is the same). I would like to see more use based on the requirements, rather than the recharge time. If you have identical recharge times, you would probably use a signet because it allows you to use it when you have no energy, but this bonus should be balanced with the current health loss of the Offering of Spirit. - It's an offering, like offering of blood. I don't see how Signet of spirits should cause health loss. Offering of spirit's recharge is pretty much fixed since you can't use Weapon of Quickening. With Signet of Spirits you can use Mantra of Inscriptions. --Life Infusion «T» 01:56, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- please dont suggest changes that make good skills worse... 76.26.189.65 14:53, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
"OoB has been buffed, leaving this skill a clearly inferior choice." Only for non-Rit primaries. I don't know of any Ritualist that uses OoB over this. 76.89.81.150 15:06, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- technically even rit primaries just needing energy would be better off with OoB, but if thier gettin channeling spells too, then its obvious 76.26.189.65 03:23, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Plus +4 more energy when you sac health, then you choose your conditional. ~>Sins WDB 01:49, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
This skill is a great source of energy, switch to a 40% recharge set when casting it = no problem. I understand that OoB returns more, but it also always have a health sacrifice, making it hard to use under fire. This relies on spirits, and TBH there is too much great spirits worth taking to not have one on your bar. 213.121.242.200 14:36, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Well personally, it's called offering of spirit, so you'd be offering a spirit. So like, destroy or make a spirit loose health for something, you know? -- Halogod35 19:49, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Krothal's Issue
So you're saying that this skill should be nerfed because you don't think the functionality suits the name? -- Gordon Ecker 07:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Jette's Issue
Agreed. -- Gordon Ecker 07:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Let's say it costs 5 energy and if you sac health (no spirits) gain +5 energy. -- gelei 15:09, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

/disagree, this skill is fine, you dont have to buff/nerf it to fit along with another. see antidote and signet of remedy for example InfestedHydralisk 17:57, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
/disagree, the skill is fine, channeling has useful skills in its line whereas blood does not. good logic at face value, but you need to look deeper than that.~>Sins WDB 20:08, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Ikimono's Issue
No. Blood is a weak line, the extra energy means nothing for hardly useful skills. An OP skill does not justify making another skill OP.~>Sins WDB 20:10, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Looking back on it, yea, that would be a bit too potent. I just like the idea of having a ritualist spirit that after a few seconds gives energy to allies within range.--66.192.104.13 17:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
