As with Recuperation, the reduced casting and recharge is balanced against the reduced duration and increased energy cost (since its no longer neglible). I went ahead and added Spawning synergy, since whether 'Passive' or 'Active', this spirit was made to be relatively spammable and long lasting. I doubt the average PvP rit-player would poor more than 8-10 ranks in Spawning (especially if using 3 attribute split or more) just to get its health and duration past half-way; when they can just recast it 10-seconds later upon death. --Falconeye 02:36, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Max Lifespan (Pain, Bloodsong, Vampirism...) [Doom coming soon] 
(Passive Version) -- Communing 15 = 150 seconds 
(Active Version) -- (Communing 0 + Spawning 15 = 80 seconds) + Ritual Lord = 106.4 seconds
Pain is pretty balanced as it is, though. Maybe just a 2Activation time cast time and then decreasing the duration from 30...126...150 to ~20...68...80. That might need a slightly lower recharge as well, though (20-25Recharge time?). 81.105.50.128 17:28, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Fine, you want active spirit play (which is like wanting Healing prayers to be proactive like Protection Prayers rather than reactive as they are. But you seem to forget some skills like Rupture Soul in your calculation. Noctarch 20:56, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
