Before creating your own suggestion …

You are about to create a game suggestion; please take some time to read and understand how the whole process works and what you should take heed of to make your suggestion appear in one of the public lists. Invalid or poorly thought out suggestions will be completely ignored and may be deleted without further notice. So don't waste your time and take care with your suggestion.

Specifying suggestion details

To make sure your suggestion appears at the correct location and is visible to the developers, the GW feedback infobox template is used. The editor below already contains a frame of that template. All you need to do is fill it with the correct values.

First you have to specify what game your suggestion is about. To do that you simply set the game parameter to either gw for Guild Wars suggestions, or gw2 for Guild Wars 2 suggestions.

Now, you have to specify categories for your suggestion. There is a limited set of categories available, split into main categories and subcategories. To set a category for your suggestion, you have to choose one of the main categories and set it as the value of the category A parameter of the template. Then you can choose a subcategory to put more detail into the selected category; to do that, use the subcategory A1 parameter.

• World : Lore, Places, NPCs, Other
• Allies : Henchmen, Heroes, Pets, Other
• Items : Armor, Weapons, Consumables, Other
• PvE : Enemies, Missions, Quests, Skills, Other
• PvP : General, GvG, HA, Arenas, Codex, Hero Battles, Skills, Other
• Player interaction : Trade system, Chat system, Guild system, Emote system, Other
• Mechanics : AI, Professions, Game features, Inventory, User interface, Graphics, Other
• Skills : common, <profession> (see below)

If you are providing a skill suggestion, you have to select skills as the main category and the profession your suggestion is about as the first subcategory (subcategory A1). Additionally you can specify the attribute name as the second subcategory (subcategory A2). If you wish it to be seen specifically for PvP or PvE, choose that as your Alternate category category B, and Skills as the subcategory B1 parameter.

If you are making a suggestion about Guild Wars 2 only the following main categories are available, in which cases no subcategory needs to be specified:

• World, Items, PvE, PvP, Player interaction, Mechanics

You can make use of the additional category B, subcategory B1, subcategory B2 set, to specify a second category for your suggestion. This should be done in those cases where the suggestion spans across different categories.

Now you have set up the required settings for your suggestion. All you need to do now to finish your suggestion is to formalize your suggestion and write it down below the template. However please take time with your suggestion and make sure it is detailed and easily understandable. You may use wiki markup to format your suggestion.
