Hello everybody!
My suggestion to Guild Wars 2 is music instruments that are usable by players. There could be different instruments, which could be buyed at npc-vendors or even be made by players, as a new crafting-feature! After a player got an instrument, he could open a window in which he could enter melodies, maybe by using musical-notation or by a new, maybe more easy way,for players who are not familiar to musical notation. When the song is done, the player chooses a name and saves it. Those melodies could then be used by an emote like "/play "songname here". Everyone in an area around that player would then hear his songs. a group of players with different instruments could form a band and make great music together! Just imagine yourself walking through Divinity's Reach, finding a group of people standing on the market and playing music! This would really bring the role-play to a higher level! I think it's the logical next step to provide content in Guild Wars 2, beside the fighting. Making music is creative, interessting and connects players! It also pushes the role-play-feeling, which is very important in my opinion.
I really hope you like my suggestion and i would love to see it in Guild Wars 2! Please ignore mistakes in grammar, i'm from germany... ;-)
