Annihilator 3: Rise of the Charr is an April Fools' Day quest asking you to save Gwen in the past from a time-traveling golem.
Plot summary[edit]
After failing to kill Sarah before her daughter is born and to kill Gwen herself as a child, the charr sends back the G-XAAG... Governator-Experimental Anti-Annihilator Golem... through an Asuran time-gate, to the days before she assumes command of the Ebon Vanguard and withdraws from the north to fortify Ebonhawke. Its mission: assassinate Gwen's future lieutenants and secure the Charr invasion's success. This includes Gwen's future husband, Keiran Thackeray, but not Gwen herself; her current whereabouts are unknown to the Charr. (Charr didnt keep detailed records of their "meat" during her enslavement.) After wiping out as many Ebon Vanguard officers as possible, Gwen's life is placed in danger when the G-X accidentally finds her.
A.R.E.N.A. commandos and the player-character are tasked with stopping this mission from succeeding to save the future, etc.

Act 1: 1079 AE[edit]
- Travel back to the year Bjora Marches: 1079 AE.
- Find the Ebon Falcons.
- Defend Keiran from the G-X.
- Make your way to Gwen before the G-X finds her.
- The G-X has kidnapped Gwen and escaped through temporal anomaly... Follow them to the year Old Ascalon: 1090 AE.
Act 2: 1090 AE[edit]
- The G-X has taken control of you: You have new orders... ANNIHILATE GWEN!
- Shutdown your programming and initiate manual-override.
- Make your way to Ascalon City and help Gwen escape back to the year Eye of the North: 1079 AE.
- Trap the G-X before the Foefire event envelopes Ascalon City: destroying both of you!
- See Corporal Bane for your reward.

- Corporal Bane: G-X is designed for extreme combat, driven by Asuran core energies reactor and equipped with onboard weapons. Its arsenal includes loose nanomagicological "Grand Illusion" transjectors.
- Player character: Meaning...?
- Corporal Bane: It surrounds itself with a vortex of phantoms and can control other golems. Its body chassis is self-replicating, triple-reinforced armoured and magically hardened to withstand attack.
- Player character: You'll find a way to destroy it. Is there a lava pit nearby?
- Corporal Bane: Unlikely; "melting" wont work this time. This "Model" is an obsolete design. G-X is faster, more powerful and more intelligent. It's a far more effective killing machine.
- Player character: Oh, great. That's great.
- Corporal Bane: Our presence in this timeline has been anticipated. G-X is designed to terminate other Genius Operated Living Enchanted Manifestations.
- Player character: So it's an Anti-Annihilator... Annihilator? Balthazar's beard! You've gotta be shitting me.
- Corporal Bane: No, I am not shitting you.

- Annihilator: Incorrect. Gwen leads the Ebon Vanguard to victory.

- Annihilator: [releases Gwen] Better. That is the Gwen worthy of their fear.

- Annihilator: Basic psychology is among my sub-routines. Anger is more useful than despair.
