Some notes:
- Nothing here will be completely new additions - the only new things will be expansions on pre-existing things.
- I do not expect anything to even be feasible for the Live Team - this is only to get my ideas of how GW can be improved out. If the Live Team decides to use this as a template for some changes, great, but I do not expect any of this to be altered.
Primary Purpose[edit]
The primary purpose of this suggestion is twofold: Firstly, to rebalance the entire game (from Prophecies on) based on the new skill balance. Since Prophecies' release, there has been a steady power-creep making the players better, and forcing the enemies to be stronger - in turn, this means Prophecies (and in some areas, Factions, Nightfall, and even Eye of the North) is far easier to complete than more modern content (read: Beyond). Therefore, I am effectively suggesting to even out the difficulty throughout the game by going back to Prophecies and giving them real skill bars (rather than the seemingly randomly selected skills).
The second purpose of this suggestion is to improve the quality of pre-existing content where it is able to be improved. This can range from steaming out the kinks in old content (for instance, Charr in Prophecies are mechanically different than Charr in Eye of the North - this would fix that) to making new models used in old Prophecies areas (for instance, Prophecies only has two skins for skale while Nightfall and Eye of the North have 3 additional models).
