Angelic Protection is pretty useless[edit]

Unless you're speccing 16 Leadership, there's rarely cases of over 130 damage to begin with (12 is the most leadership I would run on a paragon). The recharge is also abysmal. It's supposed to be an anti-spike skill akin to Judge's Intervention, Watchful Intervention, or Spirit Bond but fails.

One way of fixing it: make the damage cap reasonable[edit]

Angelic Protection Angelic Protection 5Energy 20Recharge time Skill. For 10 seconds, any time target other ally takes more than 150...110...100 damage per second, that ally is healed for any damage over that amount.

reasoning: triple melee (frenzied)= 40DPSx3=120DPS ... being trained by 3 melee is considered a prot-worthy situation, no?
