Personal story tragic ending. | |

In Guild Wars 2, Player Character (PC) will have their own personal story arc. It would be great story telling if the Player Character (PC) can have a tragic story arc, or even mess up, or even fail their personal story arc.
Here are some examples.
- · PC makes several bad choices and anger and looses friendship with a certain None Playing Character (NPC) ally. That ally is needed later to complete a quests, and the reward would be the PC getting promoted, and thus opening up more quests. Because the ally is not there, the quest cannot be completed, and the player did not get promoted.
- · The PC is employed by an Order dedicated to helping the innocent. The PC fails several opportunity to help the innocents and makes several disjointing decisions. The PC is then kicked out of the Order and now has a reputation of being unreliable and is consider a filed hero. As a consequences, the NPC will treat this PC as someone who is unreliable, and the Queen will deny audience with this PC. A new chain of quest might open up, allowing the PC to try and redeem themselves.
- · Another example, the Player Character may starts out with one principle, say of righteousness and holy belief in the unseen ones, and end up completely turning against their own belief, become a druid and join the Shining Blades.
Possible story arch paths ending may includes:
- · The perfect ending. The PC makes all the right choices and everything goes according to plan and it has a happy ending. The PC becomes a great hero.
- · The tragic path. The Player Character save the day and accomplish the goals, but at a huge price, possibility loosing someone close, such as a friend or a lover.
- · The fallen hero. The player character started out as a hero, but through the choices, falls and become a villain.
