The suggestion is about creating a concept on how to transform our own names (or nicknames) into a name that adequates to that race.
The idea can be followed in 2 ways: 1- Creating a system in the character creation zone where the players would write the name they want in a box and the system turns it into an apropriate name for the race of their character. 2- Having the information on how to "transform" a name in the character creation zone, giving the hints and tricks on how to do it and then the players do it by themselves.
Maybe the authors of the Guild Wars 2 novel could help in that matter. This feature would help the feeling of immersion and how unique their character is, and it would give the option to create so many, different and original character names, helping a player to find a good name when there is no creativity and/or there are already a lot of names beeing used.
Of course, this should be an option for the player. But this option certainly would be very usefull in creating character names.
You can find examples of this all over the internet, or even in the Tolkien "elf" language. You just have to create your own concept for creating the names.
