Suggest a new purchasable account upgrade from the NCsoft store, namely a characters Primary Profession change. It would give many of us the opportunity to add a new angle to our game, by allowing us to continue to gather titles for our main characters - whilst at the same time giving those of us who are able to play less frequently, the opportunity to do so from a new perspective. This idea has been popular within our Guild, so we thought to share it here.
This could be done in the same manner as the 'Makeover', in so far as the Retraining/Profession Change credit is firstly purchased from the NCsoft Store. After this the character to be changed could visit an in-game NPC who will provide details of available changes. Perhaps characters will need to return to one of their initial places of training (Canthan characters will need to return to Shing-Jea, Elonians ro the Sunspear Great Hall, and Tyrians to Ascalon - or everyone could simply use one NPC in the Temple of Balthazar). Changes to the character's profession will occur when you apply the selected alterations, and a retraining/profession change Credit will then be deducted from the account. This could perhaps only be done a maximum of once every 30 days, in a similar way to the Name Change Upgrade.
I can see armour being a small hurdle to be overcome, particularly regarding runes and problems with certain types of armour not being available to be switched over if a profession changes (for example elite Canthan would be a problem if changing from a primary assassin to a dervish).
