We enjoy having the new Vanguard quests, the latest and greatest addition to Pre Searing to date. But the only thing now is that Vanguard quests feel empty in terms of drops compared to the rest of the monsters in pre. We the Pre Searing Community are extremely grateful that the LDoA title is no longer a grindfest. We truly enjoy the experience gained from monsters. The only thing that's troubling is after having reached level 20. We think to ourselves, "What now? There's nothing left." We also don't get any thrill or excitement from killing monsters or bosses while doing Vanguard Quests. This is why I'm humbly submitting this request. Please allow for those Pre Searing Vanguard Quest "bosses" to have a % chance of dropping 1-2 purple or gold items per run, and disable all the other possible items like purple or gold armors (which can be converted into major and superior runes), experience scrolls, tomes, and so on. All we'd like is for bosses to be able to drop some nice weapons/gear so that we can fight off all the baddies that threaten our Ascalon. Help us get geared up through boss runs, and bring us back the joy and fruits of our labor in the form of purple and gold drops. Restore our thrill and excitement because without it, Vanguard Questing seems so empty. Thanks for reading!
Oh, just thought of this one. That boss in the Catacombs named "Skullreaver" in Pre tends to drop a white low-damage Sephis Axe almost every other run. At that point I thought to myself, "How amazing it would be if he were turned into a Vanguard quest, where every undead baddie within that corridor (or passage) became beefed up to higher levels (according to player level as it currently is now with the rest of the quests), and possibly dropped a Gold Sephis Axe? The player would then have something exciting to strive for while doing that quest!" I could only dream of the day I see this happening. Please make our dreams come true, Anet! --Ulterion 06:36, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
