See Tactics. The two previous skill balance updates have primarily been focusing on buffing attribute lines that were already better off than the Tactics line. How about this time around Tactics gets a little loving. The Tactics attribute is overall a bad line for a class that excells in dealing frontline melee damage. It should help Warriors force kills, increase outgoing pressure, or decrease incoming pressure, not just suck. Here's a few skills that could use a change.
- "None Shall Pass!" - Plan to make it similar to Protector's Defense yet works against foes. Skill. Foes adjacent to you are (knocked down every 2 seconds or move 66% slower). Ends when you move. Maybe increase the effects range...
- Thrill of Victory - Lower end damage by ~10 and have it give the user additional adrenaline.
Soldier skills are themed and require shouts or chants to work. Warriors have very few shouts and no chants...removing Shout and Chant requirement and replacing it with if you are near an ally will keep them strong in group situations.
- Soldier's Defense - Blocking stances are bad for the game especially on backline professions. Have it increase armor unconditionally and if you are nearby an ally you gain more armor or damage reduction.
- Soldier's Stance - Compare to Primal Rage/Frenzy this skill is horrible especially in a line with other horrible skills. You move and attack 10% faster for each nearby ally (Max of 33%). Synergy with pets and more frontline yay.
- Soldier's Speed - You move 15% faster and an additional 15% faster if nearby an ally.
- Soldier's Strike - See Crossfire. Make this skill cost adrenaline instead.
