During Launch, we do not want it to feel like any of the beta's or the stress test. We want all of our footage put to shame for assuming that we thought we had it right, when actually everything is a bit more than what we have seen. We can almost guarantee that most individuals will believe that the beta is how the game actually is. When it launches, we want Arena Net and NC Soft to show them that its much more.
As far as SPvP goes, perhaps for balancing purpose there could be a reduction of the # of players. Perhaps similar to random arenas in GW 1 which is about 4v4 or maybe even 6v6. This is a RPG Third person game not a FPS, the particle effects will increase RAM usage possibly crashing ones computer. When playing SPvP, it does not feel as if it is structured. It feels like its very random. One cannot get to know anyone in spvp because when auto balancing your "friend" or yourself may be issued to the opposite team. "What if I was winning on 1 team then auto-balanced to the losing team? That's going to be a loss on my pvp record and i will receive less points." After Rank 3, balance could be based by ranks only.
Team Arenas: We believe team arenas should be in the game, but, teams shouldn't have the choice to choose their skills/traits. 5 consecutive wins gets a mystery box or something. (No same two profession rule still applies)
Team death match should be a SPvP option. The team with the most defeats at the end wins. (can be a tie or go into overtime)
Choosing a pvp match should be removed, players should never be able to join a losing game. Each game should be a new game with the same, or new players.
Zombies : Please add a zombie game type to the game. With a maximum team of 4. Random or chosen with upgrades etc. Sometimes players don't like to compete against one another, they like to work together against the NPC/ AI. It can be instanced so that it reduces lag.
The use of skills in certain areas should be limited. In example at the "Heart of the Mists" people spam there skills, it produces so much sound and creates a non-social environment because everyone is spamming their skills. If this is disabled players will be forced to do PvP, zombies or WvW to actually see the skills. With those chances, players will be more attached to the game.
Maybe give pre-purchasers 3000 free gems?
Your Lord is under attack??? During PvP this guy's voice is repeated over 50 times per match. Distracts gameplay and makes recordings questionable. Perhaps enable an onscreen message.
Ultimate PvP Game Type:Protect the Leader. This game type results in 5 players on each team. Each team gets a leader, where each team must decide who will go for the enemy team leader etc. Then new round. (Not new game) 3 Rounds total. 15 minutes each match. Each non-leader gets 3 lives, + 10% damage upon each death. The leader gets a special TRAIT that is profession based.
Quickening Zephyr :For the ranger this skill was altered. Can you guys add it so that it grants swiftness as well just how it was before. It is not over powered because it literaly only lasts 4 seconds. When using this skill while stomping an enemy, there is a bit of lag also.
