Suggestion[edit]
With the release of the new feedback namespace, I would like to make a suggestion, now that you are able to comment on it. I realise it could be difficult to implement, but do you think it would be possible for you to become even more awesome? I think the entire Guild Wars community at large would benefit from this. - That's simultaneously a good question and an excellent suggestion! Now, I know it will be difficult to implement drastic changes to my levels of awesome; this is a subject I have a great deal of experience with, as my master's in theoretical awesomeology from Awesome University can attest. But, we've been working on a solution to this very dilemma for a period of time now, and it is our firm belief that I can, in fact, become even more awesome. It will take hard work, exhaustive study, and rigorous training, but in small steps, we can accomplish this monumental task.
This won't be easy, and I'll need help from anyone willing to give it. My studies have shown that two people can find ways to increase awesomeness faster and more effectively than one, and the more people there are, the higher things can go. So! Here are my currently known attributes of awesome:
—Head Professor of Awesome University
—QA Tester at ArenaNet
—On-the-side Writer
—Sees the Color of Awesome
—Awesome Level over 9000
—Presence Can Dominate Lesser Awesomes
—Makes a Pretty Good Shamus when the Chips are Down, See?
—May Refer to You as Neighbor, Comrade, Sir, or Sahib
Outside of growing a burly beard and 'stache, or perhaps wearing a top hat and monocle (I've already thought of both of these, and I need new ideas!), I'm open to suggestions on ways to make myself even more awesome. Let's hear what you've got, comrades!
David Wilson 19:11, 9 September 2009 (UTC)- Have everyone refer to you as "Boss" for starters. — Jon Lupen 19:49, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- I would first propose that we move forward on the concept of David Wilson learning Bartitsu. This would require the immediate addition of a cane and a Very Fine Hat. The addition of mustache or monocle would be complementary but not required forthright. -Kim Chase 19:52, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think a fine cape would not go amiss. Perhaps in a shade of vermillion. Misery 20:18, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

- Excellent, excellent! These are all fine ideas. I like where this is going. Bartitsu (with Very Fine Hat and cane): approved; vermilion cape: approved; being addressed as "Boss": pending, primarily because I prefer to be called "Professor"; monocle and top hat: pending, as availability is currently unknown and possible conflicts with Bartitsu hat; burly beard and 'stache: denied, due to itchiness. Let's keep 'em coming!
David Wilson 20:43, 9 September 2009 (UTC)- If you're going with a hat, cane, cape, and possibly a monocle, then you'll need to top it off with a pocket watch with a gold chain. Perhaps a fedora, crossbow and trench coat as a backup plan? Aside from attire, there must be some deeds of great Awesomeness to be performed. — Jon Lupen 21:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- Pocket watch with gold chain: approved. Poke is correct, however, that awesome doesn't need a back-up plan. On the other hand, awesome does like to have more than one outfit, so... Fedora, crossbow, trench coat, and kilt: approved. For great awesome. :D
David Wilson 22:40, 9 September 2009 (UTC) - Awesome has this crazy property that results in its sound and smell is different for everyone; mine sounds like harmonic combinations of the scores from a variety of games (like Guild Wars, Castlevania, and Phantasy Star Online) mixed with speed metal. It smells like baked goods and vanilla. The texture of awesome, though, is electric silk. Regarding extrasensory perceptions of awesome, perceiving awesome is already an extrasensory skill. The only addition you can make to it is perceiving the potential for awesome, which is a little like being able to see into the future, but only to tell whether something will be awesome or not. I only have that to a slight degree. So!
—Possesses Awesomesensory Acuity
—Has Limited Ability to Foresee Awesome Potential
Looking good so far! David Wilson 21:16, 18 September 2009 (UTC)- Tell us the truth: Did [1] attend to your classes at Awesome University? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Large (talk • contribs) at 00:32, 2 October 2009 (UTC).
- No, he learned to be awesome all on his own; he's a rare case of those with a purely natural talent for awesome. We've requested that he come and give guest lectures periodically, but he's a busy man. We understand. :) David Wilson 19:51, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
