Gotta say i agree, not managed an UW run since the update with a balanced team in NM, guild is now trying to arrange a normal PVE guild into a speed clearing guild so we can actually do it, gotta farm me one of them shiney scythes :D a suggestion i saw earlier was give the UW a time limited before the chest would spawn so that even if you SC you still gotta wait, this idea still left you able to farm ectos however so i think combining that idea with yours could work, give the over all UW a time limit before the chest can spawn and make you have to do things in order with the whole party, also possibly rework a few of the quests so that your not required to bring some kind of perma tank just to keep some silly npc alive. Eotn was the way to go respawning NPC's, failing a quest because a silly npc went the wrong way or something is really annoying. Dinsy 23:30, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- 2 things, that wall of text is unreadable, at least use some indentation.
- Also, i disagree with the statement about it being too hard for normal groups, especially in NM. It is one of five respectable elite areas, its ELITE.
- My guild brought like seven random people in NM, with even more random builds (ranger with a pet and an asuran summon), NO perma (i'm an assassin, but used critical scythe cause it goes pew-pew) and a derv and myself as meele tanks, which works just fine with a decent prot monk. Hell the prot monk tanked a few places cause of aura of faith. We also beat dhuum with relative ease, 20 minutes, only three of us died (myself inclusive). Sonic Wednesday 00:06, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- I also have an issue with the UW. I know it's an Elite Area, but should that really limit Normal People from going to the UW? I am not the best player in the game and I struggle with some elite areas. But when I finally get a Build that I can use to solo in the UW, ArenaNet add more stuff to make it even more difficult or even impossible for me to solo anymore. I do understand that they want to encourage team play, but I don't always have people I can go to the UW with as I have a small guild. SO the only solution I see is to either leave my guild and join some leet guild to do these areas or just give up on doing UW. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Sou1Co11ector (talk).

- That is exactly why it is called an elite area. People who are good at the game should be able to complete it, and people who think eles do good damage in pve (and others who just suck) should not. That is how UW and FoW worked from release. And today, it is not different. You need to know how aggro works, meaning you do not stand next to the tank with your necro. You need to take damage mitigation skills (no, that does not include healing). This is stuff you should be able to pick up when you finish prophecies or factions for the first time, not rocket science. Koda Kumi 18:09, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
