- This is like the Glowing spells from the elementalists; they're used often. Just invest a bit into spawning and maybe grab a skill or 2 from it while you're there. Harrier 17:28, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- Except rits, in PvP, are used mainly as runners (ie this would only be used for spike assists, and the damage is bad compared to other skills) or as defensive mid-line (and there are MUCH better options out there). So, you'd be making this pretty much PvE-only unless it's run in a gimmick, energy-heavy spirit build. 17:30, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

- Astohan version: Channeling Magic ~ 0 ranks/Spawning Power ~ 6 ranks >> 8 energy - 5 cost = netgain of 3 energy = 24% spirit health & weapon duration.
- Current version: Channeling Magic ~ 13 ranks/Spawning Power ~ 0 ranks >> 8 energy - 5 cost = netgain of 3 energy = 54 Lightning damage.
