Feedback talk:User/Erasculio/Kehanni as a mesmer hero
I don't know about other players but I often set up my heroes in specific ways. There are 3 Monk heroes, I set 1 as healing, 1 as prot and one as Smiting, then I'm pretty equipped to meet most requirements. I have a similar setting for the Warrior Heroes, 1 is Hammer, 1 is Sword, and 1 is Axe. 3 Necros heroes, 1 is MM (Death), 1 is Curses and the other is Blood. At the moment, there are a few sets of heroes which do not have a full complement. Elementalist is one, I normally have one set as Water, 1 Fire, and 1 Earth. A fouth hero to enable me to take an Air Ele would be useful. Similarly with only 2 Mesmers, I can't spec the two mesmer heroes into the 3 roles available, Domination, Illusion and Inspiration. With only 2 Ritualists, I can't have a Channelling, Restoration, and Communing hero. The addition of Kehanni would be nice, but it's only a step towards a full compliment of heroes. - i think this is on Linseys list of things she wants to do at least that's what she indicated at pax09. but what she said was that the biggest problem is the lack of animations. and how she explained it is that every hero needs to be able to use every weapon, but some models were never designed to use a hammer for example. so yea it seems easy to just use a already existing model in the game but the fact is its missing stuff. on another related note i would love to see more heroes as well though i would much more like to see other non-human heroes maybe some that have a longer life span that could make it into guild wars 2...-- Zesbeer 04:32, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Not her[edit]
You want another mesmer, but we already have two human mesmers, and female and male mesmers. If we go with a logical procession to have two human male and female and one non-human, what is left is:
- Human female warrior.
- Human female elementalist.
- Non-human mesmer.
- Human male ritualist.
- Non-human assassin.
- Non-human paragon.
There are several non-human NPCs that are friends or ally with humans through the game, :
- Dwarves
- Centaur
- Tengu
- Dredge
- Forgotten ones
- A few undead: Skeletons, mummies and ghosts.
- Elementals
- Dragons
- And a few margonites.
With that we get:
- Non-human mesmer: I'll say the best choice would be a Forgotten one.
- Non-human assassin. A Tengu would be great, although we already have a Tengu henchman. Second best option would be a Dredge.
- Non-human paragon. A djinn with the Key of Ahdashim model would be great. A margonite paragon would be cool too.
Then, having all of those, I'd be able to set one eementalist for each element, and one of the other professions with a different combination of equipment for each of their attributes. Well... except for warrior, you'll need 5 to set all possible combinations for hammer, axe and the two shields. MithTalk 00:06, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- Non-Human Sapien Heroes
- There are currently 19 human heroes (so we dont need more); there are currently 7 non-humans (Zhed, Odgen, Jora, Pyre, Vexx, Mox, and ghost-demon Razah); added these 5 non-human heroes for a total of 31 heroes. --Falconeye 06:27, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

- I don't think there are any Female Mursaats... And a Fogotten Mesmer wouldn't be able to take advantage of the typical gaudy Mesmer fashion, since they're all naked, but new heroes should be non-human. --MushaTalk 23:53, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- Forgotten ones wear very fashionable hats. Sometimes bracelets and pendants. They don't need clothing, they have scales.MithTalk 00:28, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- While that is very true, I would think it a waste to have a hero that you really didn't need to get any hero armor upgrades for. --MushaTalk 03:41, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Like M.O.X.? MithTalk 14:06, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Point taken. Lol. --MushaTalk 00:25, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Just think that each armor in most heroes is a different model, and the more models it needs, the less likely would be for something to be added. Mox colors? Reskins of the same model. The Costumes? Variations of the same model for each profession, that use the entire body, instead 4 separate parts. The less complicated, the easier its addition. More Heroes[edit]
I've always thought this would be a great idea. I tried suggesting it on Linsey's page, but that was back during the licensing issue. I have since set up my own feedback page where I have submitted this idea again. Since it is on the same issue, I would like to say I completely support and agree with this idea. My ideas on this are as follows:
As was mentioned before, since there are 4 elements in the Elementalist's skill attributes, why not have a hero for each one? This way we wouldn't have to switch weapons, runes, and insignias everytime we want to switch up a hero's skill bar to a different element build. In addition, if this is implemented, I think it would be incredibly cool to use a race or species that hasn't been explored yet in terms of heroes. Personally, I think a Mursaat Elementalist hero would be AWESOME! Or a Margonite :D! Then, just as was done for M.O.X., a set of quests could be given to explain the hero's backstory and lore; ie: why they defected, etc.
And while we're on the subject of additional heroes here... I would also like to see the other classes that still only have 2 heroes be considered for a 3rd hero. Namely, Ritualist, Paragon, Mesmer, and Assassin. And, again, if this is considered, please consider giving us heroes from other races or affiliations, maybe even a glympse at those to be mainstream in GW2 --Sylvari!-- What I'm thinking, though, is like a Kurzick Mesmer, Luxon Assassin, etc. Each with their own side quests and backstory! :D I like the idea of a margonite or key of ahdashim-like paragon hero, maybe The Lost or The Apostate. And how cool would a Sylvari Ritualist hero be?! I know it may not be feasible to bring in a GW2-exclusive class into GW1, but still... It would be so awesome.
- I pretty much just copied and pasted from my earlier post :D. --MushaTalk 03:31, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
