Discussion[edit]
These are all pretty freaking op, especially the "All regions" thing. And it looks like All Regions could stack too with the territory one. Some things:
All regions: I'd make these only available at rank 10.
Edification: Considering that enemies have basically unlimited energy, higher regen, and sometimes spam max regen... there is NO WAY you will see the 25% extra damage activated. Never.
Stout Hearted: basically giving people a Soul Reaping/Fast Casting hybrid (Soul Casting? Fast Reaping?). Could possibly hurt Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom or be inferior as you can take EBSOW instead. Previously Unsigned 19:35, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
- Can you suggest a better alternative? --Falconeye 01:36, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
- IMO, they don't need to be made better. With 7 heroes and so much other stuff, things are easy enough outside those meant to be hard no matter what. Adding buffs to these wouldn't really help the game. Konig/talk 02:24, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
loled hard too. This game needs no buff anymore... it's much too easy for too much ppl. --Kali Shin Shivara 03:50, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, we already have Easy Mode and Less Easy Mode, do we need to further degrade them?--Will Greyhawk 22:01, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- Not trying to make them easier; only increase the usefulness of PvE Title skills beyond bragging rights.
- Bragging rights is more than enough. GW has suffered a great deal of power-creep over the last few years, making many of us pretty disgusted. More buffs is NOT the way to make this better.--Will Greyhawk 21:49, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
PvE skills already make the game easymode...why are you buffing all these skills that are already very strong?--Four Year Strong 00:04, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Why are 80% worthless? Most feedback is in direct response to ingame feedback and from other feelow wiki-users. With 50+ skill vyings for 3-slot real-estate, only the top 10% wins out 90% of the time. If you would like to make a suggestion and/or edit main page, please do so! ^_^ --Falconeye 00:30, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well a problem is the limit of the ammount of skills you can take that makes about 80% unusable because they are plain inferior to the remaining OP 20% of the skills. Instead of pushing those 80% to the same level of power of the 20% you should do the opposite and reduce the power of the 20% to those of the 80%. From there on at that level of power you can improve them keeping them at the same level of power as the normal skills. When they are at the same level of power as all of the normal profession skills or have good synergy with them the skill limit can be reduced or removed completely making 100% of the skills usable since you won't have any competition between them anymore either. You tend to make completely OP suggestion (far more than mine) and copying functions from other abilities or skills and put them in a single skill making it very unbalanced and most of the time OP. While there is nothing wrong with copying good functions and ideas it does not work well when doing it with functions of skills, mainly because it often ignore the play style of the profession it belongs to and the use of the skills to that profession. My tip for you is to be original and look at the skills for wich class they were designed for and create functions usable to all of those professions from those classes. Look at what they lack or what they could use in adition and how it functions and synergizes with other skills and balance them out to that. Creating a bunch of 1337 PvE skills that make the HM easy even for the most retarded noobs won't help the game much since players won't properly learn how to play the game. (No hard feelings :), just a bit of advice for your suggestion). Da Mystic Reaper 00:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Always glad to have constructive feedback: makes me want to do better. I'm gearing up to tie'in all of my feedbacks, similar to how you, mora, and others have done. --Falconeye 07:54, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Asuran Summons[edit]
- These are on hole pending update: while some suggestions push these to the max (aka DMR's); my focus is to (A) increased utility and bar compression (hence the half-dozen <NONE-LETHAL> skills), especially for PvE-elementalists, (B) stop them from casting one spell every ten seconds and spend the rest of the time wanding, and (C) make them useful beyond mere distraction; thats what minions/spirits are for! --Falconeye 08:06, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
