Whoa, What a good idea. Cool.Ladislau 08:54, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Ladislau
- Good idea, but you must add that these summoning stones won't drop for boss-like foes(ex. Shiro) and some bigger bosses(ex. Frostmaw). This allies will have their normal skill bar except some monster skills(ex. Spectral Agony) and these allies have standard bonuses, depend on Mode(ex. 50% cast time and natural regeneration).Goril 6:08, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- I had addressed those with 'drop from normal-type bosses that already drop a green item' and 'drop in explorable areas only, no missions or quests (so no Shiro, boss-like foes, etc)'. Since Frostmaw does not drop a green item that creature is not included. For the second, boss-like foes are not included. Flipper 02:11, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Part of me thinks it would be a cool idea. But I think it would be overpowered - consumables already make PvE too easy for those characters prepared to grind to get them. And if u had boss summoning stones, I think it would make ordinary summoning stones kinda useless. Combatter 15:29, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- I thought this also might be a concern at first, however I find it to be tempered by the fact that these are a rare drop, green item available only in HM. As such a player cannot simply purchase a stack of these at a merchant and abuse them the way regular stones frequently are, as a rare drop it makes frequent use impossible. Also you must make substantial effort to begin with in defeating the HM boss to get one, which is an effort in and of itself, and is also tempered by the time commitment to acquire Flipper 02:11, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I do not think this is a very good idea, although the thought of summoning Maw somewhere in Kryta and enjoying the carnage is a good one :P --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Koda Kumi (talk).
- Some of those bosses have good skills, however each of them would have their power reduced to that of a level 24 creature at the max level with attributes reduced accordingly, regardless of what level they were to begin with (level is based on summoner level) Maw would be nice, but since it does not drop a green item it is excluded by the rule 'drop from normal-type bosses that already drop a green item' Flipper 02:11, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- Did you even look at the links? Koda Kumi talk 15:14, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- All the bosses you noted have skills that players can already bring. What, are you worried that people will bring six Korsheks into an area and spam SF or something? -- Hong 15:17, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I want a Duncan the Black summoning stone xD M3G 15:19, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think level 20 and as rare as, say, an elite tome would be a bit more workable. Manifold 03:26, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
