I agree, having the option would be great. I'd like to toggle the info off so I can focus on the animations of the enemy and try out new strategies if old don't work. To me it's the meat and potatoes of interactive combat. Helyanwe 01:32, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, this doesn't really make sense. Why would you want to NOT know what a mob can do? And do you think that there are enough people that Don't want this info for Anet to bother putting an option in? Please be honest.--Will Greyhawk 02:24, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- I believe I already was honest in the original suggestion by making it clear I prefer not knowing an enemy's capabilites beforehand. Based on the response from Helyanwe, I'm not alone in this. Some of us prefer that added challenge.
- To answer your question, "yes", I think there are enough like-minded people to make it worth putting this option in. Especially when you consider it's not that much extra work. In GW1, we can already choose which elements of the UI to display or to hide. It shouldn't be that difficult to make a monster's strategy notes one of those toggle-able elements, as well. It doesn't detract from your gaming experience to add the toggle that I've suggested while at the same time giving that segment of the gaming population what they want.
