time zone[edit]
maybe they could use UTC as time zone and calculate the sunset etc with the summer and winter time... you know --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.200.38.132 (talk).
- The devs have already stated in one of the interviews that there will be a day/night cycle in the game, but that it will be accelerated, so everyone has a chance to enjoy all the variations even if they only log on at the same time every day. -- FreedomBound

- It will probably progress at a 1 to 4 scale, Im gona guess. More then that might seem akward. Thous if it is faster than that, it will provide for more easily-obtained stealth for events (devs stated in a blog that waiting to do an event till night has fallen may provide a "stealth" type effect of some sort).--Neithan Diniem
