Very good. I'd be happy with option B, and it seems like it would be simpler to implement. -- FreedomBound 17:43, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Could also check Wiki (since it's updated daily), for the list of what the bounty, mission, and combat are giving for that day. Out of the options you gave, for those who don't use wiki. I'd prefer the second one myself, along with the rewards that you'd get for it (had you considered to abandon a quest). ♥ Ariyen ♀ 19:33, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- or you could, ya know..ask other people in the town about it? personn5 22:09, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- that too, done that myself, (some were smart and rude though). ♥ Ariyen ♀ 22:40, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, personally I check the zquests via the wiki, but my thinking is that this is minor adjustment that improves the overall zquest experience. Asking others in town also works, but can be unreliable and some asocial players might find that undesirable. Not every player eats, breathes, and sleeps the wiki either. Players that are inexperienced, using a single monitor, playing full-screen, using an old/slow computer, or even have a personal preference against it all have legitimate reasons not to disrupt their play experience by checking the wiki. Having the signpost actually tell you something about the quest beyond "I have something you might be interested in" is a small change that smoothes over a lot of the potential (and admittedly minor) hassle associated with examining the daily quests. --Johnweng 23:48, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- The wiki is great, but it shouldn't be part of the game itself. It is merely supplemental. I mean, you don't have to check wiki for quest dialogue every time you take a quest, the NPC giving the quest gives you that; its part of the game. I think this is a fantastic idea. I would really prefer the simple one-mouse click and tap on the spacebar to get the information needed to decide whether or not to abandon a particular zquest in lieu of a new one that might be preferrential for whatever reason. Its a signpost, you should be able to read it regardless of how many quests are in your log. --MushaTalk 03:09, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
