Gold stars you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo right. Will they really tone it down for us? I do not know if I should go to another game or keep waiting for them to tone this down.

Riverside Assassination will they let us know if they tone this one down? I am going to another game and will check in from time to time to see if I can continue playing this game. I know there are other things I could do in game but I got so discourage doing this quest I need a break from the game itself. Yet I fear I will miss it if they make it easier.

I've never found WiK that difficult with real people as for solo they have commented on that and are going to be allow full hero teams so no more low level hench, not sure on how long thats gonna be though. --Dinsy 12:17, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

There will still be a party size limit that, even with Heroes, will cause a huge handicap for solo players. And, as this game gets older and the release of GW2 gets closer, there are more and more people who find it necessary to go it alone in WiK, simply because there aren't that many people left who haven't already completed WiK and/or are willing to help. Guildless players have the hardest time of this. WiK takes place in 6 member team areas (eg. 1 player + 5 heroes) and they created WiK with the same difficulties in normal mode that we have in normal mode in any of the eight member team areas. Perhaps even with a tad more difficulty considering the number of foes and the close distances between the groups that we are finding in pretty much ALL of the last 5 or 6 missions. It takes too long to kill one group and before you know it, you have 1 to 3 more groups on top of you. And the enemies are overpowered. Maybe not for an 8 member team, but definitely for a 6 member one. With at least 2 real players, there is more control, so more easily done, but still difficult. There is limited control even over heroes, so a solo player with 5 heroes will still have much difficulty, albeit, it will be easier than using henchies, which are not suited for WiK in normal mode. At no point of the WiK plot, I ever found it too hard to finish... even the old "The Battle for Lion's Arch" was easy when you just know how to do it... just equip your heroes, ask your guild or just agonize about some useful builds for you and your heroes... --Kali Shin Shivara 05:57, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
