Duncan the Black[edit]
No more spirit rift that one shots your party? OP shit.--83.82.62.210 23:37, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
clarification requested[edit]
"Whenever Duncan the Black loses" - Loses health, I presume? :P
"from a nearby spirits" - a spirit or multiple spirits?
Duncan's Defense - does this trigger everytime his health goes down (degeneration aside) or only on damage?
"I was going to have both a redirecting of damage and a return of damage..." - I've a suggestion; the character responsible takes 25% of the damage done, and spirits take either 35% or 50% of the damage. Thoughts?
I think he may be too vulnerable in Normal Mode; it seems the spirits would go down very fast, and then he'd be alone until he can summon them again. Of course; this sin't a theory that I can test.
Currently, Reclaim Essence will only affect Agony, and not Duncan's Call. Intentional or an oversight? If changed, I think "fewer than 5" might be slightly harsh. A F K When Needed 18:06, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- Typo's fixed; I was originally going to have 25% redirected to player and 25% to one nearby spirit, but went with the 50% to spirit. Reason for this was that, yes, spirits can die fast but with the ability to re-summon spirits, I didn't see them dying fast an issue. There was supposed to be a time when he has few to no spirits. What I did forget regarding the spirits is mentioning their time-limit for being spawned.
- Regarding Reclaim Essence - no oversight. It's supposed to be used as a "kill Agony before it dies, then resummon" - effectively, a double Agony (482 health and 88 damage per foe, with just 8 enemies means 6 seconds alive, so it'd be more like 12 second Agony). Reclaim Essence wouldn't affect spirits caused by Duncan's Call either - since they can't technically be owned by him otherwise doubles would be killed, so technically speaking the skill would trigger the spawning of them, not spawn the spirits itself. -- Konig/talk 19:02, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
