If I understand your suggestion correctly, are you saying that you want to get rid of the pet scheme altogether? What you're describing already exists in the form of Norn blessings. Are you trying to say that when you have a certain skill equipped, it would allow you to bring out the beast and you, as the ranger, would be able to use beast mastery skills without a pet? Would this skill act as an like a flash enchantment? Would it be a skill that cannot be interrupted? What happens if it does get interrupted? Your beast mastery build just got pulverized.
