Feedback talk:User/Mistmaster/Guild control areas
How would you expect other guilds, etc. to own those areas, much less do quests, etc.? I'd oppose this as it would be quite unfair to many and make a LOT not want to Play Guild Wars 2. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 05:10, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
This basically sounds like a World PvP idea, which doesn't mix with PvE. World PvP will take place in the Mists in GW2. And how would you allow people to be attacked when they enter the controlled area? This isn't Alliance vs. Horde. So if I'm playing through the game, and I have to travel through Town X, and it's owned by an opposing allegiance/guild/alliance, I'll be attacked? It's already an inconvenience with Factions, to where you can't even trade with a Merchant if an outpost is owned by the other allegiance. I'd also go out of my way to find neutral towns to trade in, because I'm not letting my hard work go to pay percentages of a guild's income. No way. Xiaquin 18:09, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
I like this idea. Xiaquin, I don't think that this guy is suggesting owning parts of the main game. Just separate areas that have no consequence to the game. Kalizar
i think this would be an excellent idea. a thought i have is maybe in a separate area or not.. have control points, fortifications, etc. similar in design to warhammer online's world pvp. although in a way that would not affect the "pve(or main)" areas. just a thought ^^ Chocmerc
