As Ariyen has stated, just use a Perfect Salvage Kit. Armors weren't meant to be alter repeatedly when you use them. That's one of the reason that added the newer equipment packs so players could manage their armor sets or weapons. "Collector armor has inbuilt advantages,such as extra energy and energy recovery (e.g. for a necromancer)" Can you show a screenshot of that. I don't recall that to be true. I know many classes has profession wide armor bonuses (like dervs have added hp on armor) but I don't think collector type armor has added buffs over crafter armor. Lastly, back up to M3G, as you probably know you do get materials back if you salvage armor but I think the reason why it's so little is the realistic view to it. If you get good use out of the armor you wouldn't get a much material out of an item. Magic Talk 06:48, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
